At Broadstone First School, the school community has decided on three values which underpin everything we do at school. These values are:-

The children agree to abide by simple rules to support our values. These are called the “Golden Rules” and we adhere to them to make our school a happy, safe and caring place for ALL our learners. The rules are:

• Do be gentle
• Do be kind
• Do listen
• Do look after property
• Do work hard
• Do be honest

They are the backbone of our “Self-esteem and Respect for Persons” policy which is based on highlighting the positive and having clear sanctions and an opportunity to rectify the negative.
