Thank you so much if you were able to attend today’s story telling picnic. It is such a shame that the weather was poor and we therefore couldn’t get out into the woods. We hope that you enjoyed the 50’s food on offer and of course the ‘Lashings of Ginger beer’. It was so nice for the children to hear some quality feedback from you all and I’m sure that this will inspire them to really improve on their skills, in order to make high quality CD’s to send off. We hope that you enjoyed the sample of their story that was read to you, I know that the children have worked incredible hard on them and are really proud.
As you will all hear in the newsletter this week, we are really aspiring to ensure we wear our school uniform with pride. We have asked all children to make a real effort to look smart and tidy, by tucking in their shirts, neatening their collars etc. throughout the school day. Please help us with this by encouraging your learners to always be wearing the correct school uniform to school. This will be outlined in the newsletter to follow. Your children will also be encouraged to be responsible for their uniform during the day. We will be looking out for learners who always take pride and responsibility for looking ‘smart’ and will be celebrating these on a regular basis. We will display photos of children looking exceptionally smart and celebrate how they have taken great pride. We hope this will remind and inspire all of our learners to do the same.
